As you can see, our brand-new website is now up and running – optimized for both desktop use and mobile devices.
If you are visiting our new site from a mobile phone or tablet, you will notice that the contents adjusts smoothly to a small screen, with easy navigation and less distractions. On desktops we utilize the potential for adding life with moving images.
We are very grateful to Gry E. Pederson of GEP Design who helps us present Star more professionally to the outside world. Gry is also the creative spirit behind our new logo and the fresh-up of our profile colours.
In connection with the launching of the new website, we asked Gry to share her ideas behind the design and her thoughts on the working process leading up to this proud moment. Here is her response:
– Working with STAR has been a very rewarding and exciting process, and I am very happy with the co-operation and the outcome we created together. We laid the foundation of this project by creating a new communication strategy. Through the process we have defined a clear now-situation, a goal/vision for the future and created tools to get there. A main focus throughout the project has been to communicate that STAR provides customer value through user-friendly solutions, good service, quality and security. We have developed a website that makes it easy for customers to find what they are looking for, and to make contact. Good usability and clear communication, combined with a fresh design and a relevant color palette will make STAR stand out from their competitors and attract new customers. I am grateful for working with all the talented people at STAR, and I wish you all the best on the journey ahead!
